The HBV/4DR 9G test is a qualitative, PCR-based, line probe assay in-vitro diagnostic test for the identification of the Hepatitis B Virus and its Resistance to Lamivudine, Telbivudine, Adefovir and Entecavir from clinical specimens. The detection of 5 most significant mutations in four codons associated the viral reverse transcriptase (RT) gene allows the identification of drug-related resistance.
- Simultaneous detection of HBV infection and 4 drugs resistance mutation
- Highly sensistive detection at single nucleotide level of mixtures of wild-type and mutant
- Early detection than sequencing and viral load assays (less than 30 minutes after PCR)
